Autumn's Passing
I titled this one "Autumn's Passing" because of
the way I drew the original. It seems lately that I have been concentrating on
getting more color in my drawings than I have in the past. I have done color
pencil work for over 20 years and have been selling them for that long but for
some reason I am getting clients, that have been buying from me for years,
saying things like "It's good to see that your finally doing color work." I try
to explain that I have been doing it all along! Oh well. I guess in the past I
have not used color that much due to the fact that I am red/green color blind
and it is hard for me to see color. I have gotten over this by figuring out a
way to effectively use bright, single colors in a way that makes them look good
together. I am very proud of this piece.
